Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center named Heather johnson as director of early detection and education, leading its community program Prevention on the Go which provides free mobile prevention, education and early detection services to communities in the region.
Johnson began her career at Mary Bird Perkins as an intern in 2012 and was promoted to Prevention and Education Specialist until 2015. She was most recently at the Southern Cardiovascular Institute as an administrator of medical practice for the New Iberia and Lafayette clinics. Johnson received his BS in Biological Sciences from LSU and his MA in Public Administration from Southern University Nelson Mandela School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs.
Women’s hospital promoted Allyn Whaley Martin the director of quality, risks and patient safety; Mary beth magee director of the assessment center; and Joy Lafleur to the director of medical personnel services.
Whaley-Martin has been a risk manager since 2017. She has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, specializing in quality and patient safety programs, risk management, regulatory readiness and management. emergencies.
Magee has been the nurse manager of the surgical unit, the pre-surgery and day surgery center since 2012 and was previously nurse supervisor in the emergency room of the Notre-Dame-du-Lac regional medical center.
Lafleur has spent his entire career with Woman’s and in the medical personnel services since 1991 and has served as department manager since 2007.
Srinivas “Srini” Krishnaswamy was appointed Chief Operating Officer at Plexos LLC Group, a program delivery, business consulting and information technology company.
Krishnaswamy has over 30 years of experience in managing civil, infrastructure and construction projects in the United States and overseas and will be responsible for the design and implementation of Plexos’ strategic growth plan. and expanding key customer relationships in established and developing markets.
Krishnaswamy spent two decades at AECOM, most recently as Executive Vice President, Americas, where he extended the company’s disaster recovery services to Florida, North Carolina, California, Texas and Louisiana. and throughout the United States and the territories, including the United States Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

Singh was Senior Vice President of Information Technology at Host Hotels & Resorts since January 2011. He joined Host as Vice President of Information Technology in 2003 and began his career at IBM Global Services. Singh obtained a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Delhi College of Engineering in New Delhi and a master’s degree in industrial engineering and computer science from LSU.
